Palliative Care is a multidisciplinary approach to specialized care that focuses on providing relief from Symptoms of any chronic illness, pain, physical stress, and mental stress.

The Goal is to improve quality of life for both patient and family.

It is appropriate at any age and at any stage in a serious illness and can be provided along with curative treatment.

Palliative care can often lengthen a patient’s life by increasing the quality of life along with focusing on end of life care.

Palliative care increases comfort by lessening pain, controlling symptoms, and lessening stress for the patient and family.
